KING OF THE SAD PEOPLE zine existed years ago but went to sleep for a while. Anyway the sun shone in the punk scene once again and KOTSP was forced to arise from its slumber and start spreading the news again. So with that issue 5 was unleashed on the unsuspecting punters at the Stomach Inc./Mouthpiece gig in Eamonn Dorans early Feb 2003. Mostly all text, which is cool, the zine covers Football (hooray!), old gits in punk, punk fashions, the punk internet gossip site Eirecore and more. Heavy on the humour, I certainly laughed more than once. Best bit…its free! Contact: kotsp@yahoo.com
JAKES WRATH started three years ago, initially covering just music (mainly Irish and British bands- sir killalot, the redneck manifesto, the steam pig, cold war, the dagda, circle again etc etc) but sort of expanding with the last issue. There hasn’t been an issue out in a year an a half so consequently you can't really get any back issues. Next issue should be out in a month or two and will have a good bit of non-music related stuff in it along with all the usual faffing around. If anyone wants to get in touch, to contribute or nag Liadain about stuff, her address is: Liadain O'Driscoll, Ballymacrown , Baltimore , Co. Cork or email: doomliadain@hotmail.com
